Yes, and it's straightforward. Reach out to our support team when you need to add licenses, and we'll take care of it. New licenses are prorated to align with your current renewal date, so all your licenses stay on the same billing cycle.
Storage in IGOR is allocated to your organization, not individual users. Each user license includes a storage allowance, but we don't track or restrict usage on a per-user basis - because research is collaborative, and your data belongs to the organization, not to whoever created it. Your total storage is based on the number of active licenses in your subscription. If you exceed that limit, just request additional storage in flexible 100 GB increments. It's a small additional fee, and there's no need to upgrade your entire plan.
There's no setup fees, and yes, onboarding and support are included. When you get started, our team works with you to configure your account, structure your workspaces, and walk you through the platform. You'll also get access to our searchable knowledge base with step-by-step guides. Starting in Q2 2026, Professional and Momentum plan customers will also receive free access to IGOR Academy - an on-demand training course with video walkthroughs of every major feature. And if you ever need help, just submit a support ticket or email our team. We're here to make sure IGOR works the way your lab needs it to.
Most teams are up and running in a few hours. The platform is designed for quick setup with a point-and-click interface, so you can create workspaces, configure permissions, and add team members without needing IT support or coding knowledge.
To speed things up, you can delegate setup tasks - like customizing experiment metadata, configuring inventory repositories, importing SOPs, and creating experiment templates - across your team. If you're importing large volumes of existing data, SOPs, or templates, the process may take longer depending on complexity. Even so, most organizations are fully operational within a few days or weeks, and you likely won't need much help from us.
